First, I apologize that I posted this after a long time, I'm busy with school and many things so I almost forgot about this blog.

OK, at first I really want to write in the point of view of someone who support neither ShinRan nor CoAi. I doubt I could in this kind of emotion, but I'll try.

Shinichi and Ran. Let's analyze each other's point of view.

Shinichi, about Ran: Childhood friends, liked Ran, afraid to confess, keeps feelings for years, highschool with Ran, almost killed by organization and became Conan instead, made her wait, convince her when she was sad about Shinichi.

Ran, about Shinichi: Childhood friends, childhood love to Shinichi, New York case which made her seriously admiring Shinichi, afraid to confess, Shinichi went away for a case, waiting, often feeling so lonely without him.

Then Shinichi turned into his original body again. This happened 4 times as long as I know. First is when Heiji challenged him, then in the high school drama where he wanted to confess his feeling but turned to Conan again instead, next is when someone is disguising as him, and last is when he finally confess because he accidentally said that he's in London.

There are some things I marked about this couple. Some makes me think that they are a nice couple. But, some also irritates me.

First, the duration of their relationship. If they started their friendship since they became a first grader (primary) and now is in the second year of high school... Wow, they're friends for 10 years. And they still have a good relationship, even had an interest to each other? They must be feeling suitable with each other, then. This could be a guarantee that they will have a good love relationship one day, if they ended up with each other (and it's pretty obvious).

Second, too much depends with the thinking "maybe next time". Don't understand? I'll explain. Both of them were too shy to confess their feelings. Finally, they end up thinking "OK, I don't have enough braveness this time, I'll do it another time". This is normal if came up in their mind before the 'tragedy' which happened to Shinichi. But if comes after Shinichi came back and they both realize that they don't have too much time... This is pretty annoying. This makes them cancel their plan of confession and in the end, the chance is killed.

The example of this could be found in volume 26 of the manga (in Indonesian version, I don't know how about other language's versions, and I don't watch the anime episodes). At the time, Conan turned back to Shinichi and appeared in the high school's drama. The next day, he asked Ran to come to the restaurant at the night because there's something he wanted to tell. In this case, I thought, "OMG why don't he just told her directly when they went to school together, or when they came home from school?"

Then we know that he wanted to follow how his father proposed his mother. But wait, why should be the same? Confessing like that requires a huge braveness, while Shinichi is the type which talked about another thing when he wants to tell something very important. It was proofed when he talked about Holmes to Ran because he's nervous to confess at the time... in the end, he doesn't confess that night and turned back to Conan instead.

And he only could confess when he really must did, like when Ran told something like love is zero at the case in London.

Third thing; didn't go straight to the point. In the London case, Ran which felt he was fooled by Shinichi said "She was right, love is zero..." and so on. Ran, why not go straight confess him? By saying, "I've been waiting for you, Shinichi, and you fooled me. I love you, Shinichi" or other simple sayings?

And Shinichi is just the same, Ran is about to cry right in front of him but he asked about Minerva Glass!? Really, which is more important, a case or a lady you love who waited for you and is really missing you?

Fourth, this one is really good, stay loving each other though they're surrounded by sooo many people. Especially Ran. In her point of view, Shinichi is faraway and she's loyal. Shinichi, in his Conan form and with Haibara beside him in most times still fell for Ran. I ever read, distance is a test of love. For those who passed it, there's only one answer: true love.

About Conan and Ai... I'll write about them next time. I'm so tired right now, and not in the mood for writing in a neutral  person's point of view. I'll wait till I felt could write about CoAi like a person who didn't like or hate the partner. Right now, I'm so in love with them. Bye.
